Celebrating Community, Competition, and Legacy at the 2025 IALF Golf Outing
July 2, 2025
There are few events on the IALF calendar that combine camaraderie, competition, and heartfelt generosity quite like our annual memorial golf outing and this year’s 2025 event was no exception.
We were thrilled to welcome alumni, sponsors, and friends for a beautiful day of golf, fellowship, and fundraising, all in support of IALF’s mission to cultivate knowledgeable and effective leaders for Illinois agriculture. From first tee to final toast, the day was filled with great shots, better company, and moments of meaningful reflection
.
Congratulations to Our Winning Team!
Please join us in congratulating this year’s top golfers: Julie Wankel (IALP Class of 2016), Tracy Gordon, Bart Bailey, and Drew Stevens—well done on a fantastic round!
A Legacy of Giving
This year, the spirit of giving was especially moving. The Class of 2016 raised an incredible $2,220 in memory of their classmate Brian Satorius, honoring his legacy in a way that truly reflects the heart of the IALF family.
Not far behind, the Class of 2010 raised $2,100 in memory of Pat Schaddel and Jeff Ray, demonstrating once again the lasting bonds and enduring impact of our alumni network.
These generous contributions go beyond the scoreboard—they fuel the next generation of ag leadership and ensure our program remains strong, relevant, and mission-centered.
Thank You to All Who Made This Day Possible
To our golfers, sponsors, silent auction donors, volunteers, and cheerleaders from near and far: thank you. Your participation and support make this event not just a fundraiser, but a celebration of who we are as a community—committed, connected, and future-focused.
We’re proud of what we accomplished together and look forward to seeing you at next year’s outing!
