Global trade and the role of international supply and value chains is the focus of studying abroad in one or more foreign countries during this seminar. Participants are immersed in the culture, geography, and flavor of the countries chosen for a specific class. Countries are chosen based on their emergent importance to agriculture, business, and cultural understanding. This study seminar presents an intensive study of agricultural practices, food production and consumption, trade policy and challenges specific to each country that will be visited. The Class of 2018 will be visiting Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
